Terms of service

These terms apply when you use thedaysofme.com, try our free photo offer, or order a film from The Days of Me ("we").

Your material

• You confirm that you have the right to share the photos, videos, recordings and stories you send us, and that the people in them (or their families) would be comfortable with them being used to make a private family film.
• You keep all rights to your material. You give us permission to use it only to make your photo or film.
• Please don't upload material that is unlawful, explicit, or that you don't have permission to share. We may decline any request.

The free photo offer

• One free photo per email address, while daily free spots last.
• Results are created with AI and may not be perfect. Colors are an artistic interpretation, and motion is added to make the photo feel alive; it does not show what really happened.
• The photo and results are deleted after 30 days.

Films

• Your film is made from the material and stories your family provides. You approve the script before production.
• Each film includes the number of revision rounds described in its package. Revisions cover corrections and swaps, not a new story.
• The finished film is yours to keep and share privately with family and friends. We may use your film or clips from it in our marketing only with your written permission.
• Prices, delivery times and refund terms are confirmed in writing when you order.

Use of AI

We use AI tools to restore, colorize and animate photos, to create scenes of places and eras, and to produce narration. We do not create fake likenesses of real people or invent events.

Liability

We take great care with your memories, but the service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the film in question. Please keep your own copies of original photos and recordings.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.
